Certified Learning Practitioner  CLP – Trainer Assessments

How do you find externally accredited trainers?
Mike Morrison CLP - Certified Learning Practitioner
In 2008 TrainerBase launched the Certified Learning Practitioner (CLP) standard covering independent and freelance trainers. A unified standard which looks at personal, design, delivery and commercial skills. THE standard for purchasers of training to look for in their providers.

Commitment to the CLP standard

RapidBI is committed to the CLP standard. As we progress with our assessment we will provide more details here.

Update #2 – the 20 minute peer assessed training session is now complete – boy was that harder than I expected. Now awaiting the outcome – a provisional pass but awaiting finalisation after submission of my reflective log on the experience.

Update #3 – well I have today had confirmation – I have been successful in the achievment of the CLP status – see the TrainerBase CLP page for details

UPDATE 2010 Due to changes within the the trade association Learning Practitioners Association (LPA)and its subsequent closure, we opted not to go for a renewal assessment. The CLP standard is now managed by Trainerbase, although there is some doubt if this will continue.

The Standard For Learning Practitioners
