A key purpose of RapidBI is supporting the Business Advisory profession. We are committed to providing diagnostic & development tools, training, networking and CPD (continuing professional development) activity for Business Advisers to assist them in their important role of supporting enterprises.
Training and development pathway
RapidBI have partnered with key organizations to provide a unique training pathway from zero to competent business adviser.
Programme Outline:
A twelve month programme could look like:
Week 1 –
Induction & orientation to the role of the Business Mentor/ Adviser
Month 1
Workshops and tutorials – assessment of competence
Month 2
Shadow Experienced Business Advisers (SFEDI or IBA assessed)
Month 3
Placement & assessment of competence
Months 4-12
Complete workplace assignments & online learning
Month 12
Submit dissertation & portfolio submission.
The resulting programme can provide participants with SFEDI or IBA accreditation and a MSC in Business Advice & Mentoring. Programmes can be designed to offer an ILM award if required.
We can of course provide training in a number of specialist areas as CPD.

Rather than rely on fixed solutions we work with you to identify the right skills set and appropriate content for your business advisers.
As the focus of each geographic area has particular needs it is important to ensure that the advisers you train can deliver on your targets, so that is what we focus on. That is not to say that we ignore qualification frameworks or standards – but that we adapt them to you’re your needs and the needs of your clients.
This also means that we are not tied to one delivery vehicle. We can offer classroom, workshop, on-the-job and e-learning to suit your advisers’ needs as well as your budget.
