Peer Ed
Peer Ed is the name given to an iniative run by the British Red Cross where young people from the community are trained in relevant content and work with other people of a similar age to understand the risks. Peer Ed groups typically get involved with educating other young people in:
* First Aid
* HIV/ Aids
A new Logo
In August 2008 members from the British Red Cross marketing team visited a London based peer ed group for help in developing an on-line community to help and support the Peer Ed initiative. During that discussion the names Red Recruiter and Red Responder was developed and an idea for a logo (below).
