Seven tips for improving your ecommerce strategy

Invest in mobile

With more than a third of online purchases being made via a mobile device, it’s so important you have a responsive website that makes it easy for mobile users to place an order. Take a look at your abandoned orders and see if there’s a pattern as to where people are changing their minds. You should then streamline your checkout process to make it as easy as possible to use.

Constantly ask for feedback

Feedback from your customers is integral to improving the customer experience. Conduct regular market research but don’t forget to ask your customers what they like and dislike about what you do.

Utilise social media

You might not make a great deal of direct sales through social media but the brand awareness is invaluable. This makes people more likely to recommend your ecommerce website to others or think of you when considering a purchase of something you sell. Enhancing your ecommerce strategy is about more than just one technique, it’s about using a range of techniques and marketing strategies to ensure you make the most sales possible.
