26/09/2018 at 19:02Hi Mike Morrison, I am trying to understand the exactly how analysis of culture can be extended into the future so that instead of just understanding the current culture, one can also project how current culture might influence future culture or impede positive culture in the future, could you please shed some light on this and also please explain what context is and how important it is in diagnosing n organization’s culture.

04/10/2018 at 15:51Hi, I am not sure you can. Culture is so interdependent on the leaders, that a change in leaders will change culture. Unless you can operate a crystal ball, then leave the future alone. Understand what is and work with it

19/03/2019 at 09:58Hi Payon, this is complex and cannot be answered satisfactorily in a few words on a blog.
Analysis of culture tells you where you are now, so can help provide a map of where you need to get to. What factors need to change to get to your desired culture. Future culture is less impacted by the current culture than by the leadership insitu at the time. Culture is always driven by the people at the top. the culture throughout an organisation can predict if the situation will be stable or not.
Context is everything, it is where you are now, the clients you have, the suppliers, the market place. It is the external factors that impact what you can and cannot do.
