Developing key performance indicators to closely reflect important miles stones or targets is critical for success. 09/12/2011 at 06:57Hi, I am sorry but it is not that easy. A KPI is KEY performance indicator, and without knowing what the objectives of your department/ function are, in association with the goals of the business as a whole, anything I say will be meaningless.
One reason KPIs fail in organizations, is that individuals lift a “measure” from a website without considering its impact. The purpose of a KPI is to help the business identify when things are going right or wrong – an early warning system if you like.
We can of course consult with your organization to identify the right KPIs, but that is a paid for service. If you want that help please call us or complete the contact us form.
