Each year the CIPD hold an annual conference and exhibition looking at the world of Learning and Development. This show is known as the CIPDLDShow (or HRD if you are old enough!).

Evaluation is not the end point – it should be the beginning. Forget ROI and focus on solving business problems. If the problem has gone the training or learning intervention was effective.
Less that 50% of Learning & Development professionals in the conference have not had any personal development in the last 12 months!
